Niche Department Store is a project of Nitche Media, an editorial studio in eastern Gifu. We spend our weeks reading old manga magazines, watching late-night dramas, and walking around regional supermarkets noting down logos.

The shop began as a way to share the things we love with friends abroad — small batches of merchandise from cult Japanese culture, plus original goods designed in our studio. We work directly with printers, illustrators, and indie artists across Japan to keep the catalog small and particular.

Everything ships from Japan within two business days. We do not believe in overstating quantities; if it is sold out, it is sold out.
